AFC Rushden & Diamonds are sorry to announce that Head of Youth Development Steve Whitney has left the club by mutual consent.
Steve wished to seek a new challenge within football and both he and the club felt that now was the right time for him to step away, with the NSYL and Academy teams all currently flourishing.
Steve was instrumental in helping to get the NSYL team off the ground last season and has also played an important role in forming the new AFC Rushden & Diamonds Academy.
Everyone at the club would like to thank Steve for all of the hard work that he has put in over the last 18 months and to wish him well for the future.
