Supporter Satisfaction Survey Results

Firstly, we would like to say a huge thank you to all those who took part in our first ever Supporter Satisfaction Survey at the end of last season. The response rate was fantastic with almost half our average home gate completing the form. This really helps us to understand what is working well and where we can make improvements.

Supporters are the life blood of the club and as our manager recently mentioned in his podcast ‘they are called supporters for a reason…’

On to a summary of the survey feedback,

You told us that communication from the Chairman and Board needed to improve – part of the
incoming Chairman’s brief will be to provide regular updates on club matters and to explore new methods of reaching out. The Board will also be setting up a communication email facility, it will be more active across our social platforms and be resolute in holding Fan Forums during the season. It will also place pictures of its members on the club website so that you can recognize us and speak with us on matchdays. All your questions and/or concerns will be addressed and dealt with in a confidential and sympathetic manner and we encourage supporters to come forward and make contact in whichever way or method they feel most comfortable.

We asked about the facilities at Hayden Road – Dales Bar came out as excellent value for money and following supporters views and the increasing cost of living our 2022/23 season Match Day Food Catering Services Tender is now underway with quality and supporter value being at the core of the process. We will also seek to improve further on the refreshment options and availability.

We are delighted on the overall feedback for our toilets, seating and cleanliness. All three aspects scored very strongly with an overwhelming figure for cleanliness. Full credit must go to all the volunteers for ensuring this happens but also to the supporters who attend and respect those efforts.

We asked about your matchday experience and if you would bring a friend
– a considerable majority equally say the experience is good value for money and of very good quality. An overwhelming majority would bring a friend to a match which is fantastic news. We also gathered that our facilities compare well with away grounds. All of this is fantastic feedback however we will continue with ideas to improve your enjoyment further and enhance what is already in place.

A short note from me…
I would like to thank everyone once again who took the time to complete the survey. It is vital that the supporters of AFCRD have a voice but more important that it is heard and responded to. This is YOUR football club and by pulling together we can go forward and build on the amazing success already experienced.

PS, the winner of the signed home shirt will be notified separately.
