Saturday
11:53am – Pre-match meal all laid out, lads are just going in now.
10:59am – Players just heading into a team meeting.
9:38am – Breakfast has finished and now for a couple of hours down-time. Most of the lads have gone for a walk, whilst the management team are being interviewed for Radio Diamonds.
8:31am – Players are just sitting down to their continental breakfast.
Friday
20:51 – After a spinning session in the gym followed by a dip in the plunge pool, the players have eaten a healthy meal and are now relaxing in the hotel lounge.
17:36 – Players will be off to the gym soon for a light session to blow the cobwebs out before dinner and an early bed!
17:13 – We’ve arrived. Players are just checking in now.
17:04 – Nearly there!
16:02 – Oh dear, A1 closed due to an accident. Not to worry though, we’re navigating around it – we don’t need SatNav, we’ve got Mark Hedges!
15:49 – Tune in to BBC Radio Northampton tonight at around 17:45 when they will be speaking to club Chairman Ralph Burditt about tomorrow’s game.
15:35 – Just to clarify, yes the Radio Diamonds guys know we are away tomorrow! They will be doing updates etc. and hopefully speaking live to a few people at the game as well.
15:05 – Coach stopped at Wetherby services. Colin and the driver are re-attaching the sign!
14:02 – Heavy traffic southbound on the A1M – glad we’re going North!

13:28 – We are just passing Woodhall Services on the M1 now.
12:30 – Watching Ted on the coach is proving challenging as the screen is shaking too much. Luckily, we have Gilly the Engineer on board to sort out the screen – he’s cunningly used Colin’s physio tape to sort the problem out… well, it helped a bit.
11:45am – We’re all on the coach and off! Just passing through Wellingborough town centre.
11:30am – Players are all at the ground in their tracksuits, barring a couple who are going to meet us in the North East. Coach has just arrived.
