Due to a change in personal circumstances, AFC Rushden & Diamonds are NOW recruiting a new MATCHDAY TURNSTILES MANAGER for their Saturday and midweek home matches at The Hayden Road Sports Ground.

Our Turnstile Manager and our volunteer turnstile team play a vital part in our match day operation, providing excellent customer service and welcome on entry into the ground at every home game.

Job Description

Title: Turnstile Manager (Safety Team)
Reports to: John Gregory (Club Director)
Working in conjunction and as part of Matchday & Safety Team managed by Matchday Safety & Stadium Manager Rod Brown

Role: To manage and operate the match day turnstiles leading our team of volunteer turnstile operators.

Operate the entry turnstiles to the ground ensuring all entrants are counted and provide appropriate valid tickets or cash payments for admission to the stadium.

Duties:

Ensure the tunstiles are adequately staffed for each home match. Attend pre-match match day safety team briefing as required. Put out on display all necceasary turnstile signage.
Open turnstiles unless otherwise instructed

  •   Saturday and selected Bank Holiday matches 1:15pm
  •   Evening games 6:15pm.
    Share intelligence regarding current banned individuals.
    Collect and use match-day radio as needed.
    If cash payment being taken manage float and account for all takings and entry. Use laptop to manage season ticket card reader and season ticket holder entry. Use dedicated mobile app to manage TicketSource match ticket sales and entry Use dedicated mobile app to manage SumUp Payments and entry.
    Manage guests lists including
  •   Away Club Directors
  •   Guests (Press/Visiting Scouts/League Officials)
  •   Players Guests as arranged by the ClubLiaise with our Matchday Programme Seller to ensure their programme provision lisitngs are correct. Ensure completion and return completed attendance sheet to Matt Ward (Finance Director) after turnstiles close.
