AFC Rushden & Diamonds have been advised by the UCL that both Peterborough Sports U21 and Biggleswade Town U21 teams have withdrawn from the new U21 league. Wootton Blue Cross U21 originally also withdrew, but they have withdrawn that resignation.
This means the fixture planned for Saturday has been cancelled – but this has now been replaced by a home fixture against AFC Kempston Rovers – see here for details and see here for the updated fixture list. That game ended in a 3-3 draw.
No further explanation has been provided by the UCL, but AFC Rushden & Diamonds would like to apologise to anyone inconvenienced by this late change.
