As a Community Club we rely heavily upon our attendances for income and volunteers. If our crowds continue to age, it will impact upon our long term sustainability as a football club, which will restrict our ability to compete at the highest level possible. One of our concerns is that younger fans are being priced out of football.
The Club has therefore made the decision to drop the admission price for Under 16s and Under 21s attending Hayden Road immediately from £8 to £2 and from £8 to £6 respectively, starting with this Saturday’s match against Needham Market, with a decision on whether to roll this change out for the full season to be made later this month.
We hope that by making this change it will reduce barriers to allow younger fans to attend Hayden Road and be part of the future story of this club as we mark an already memorable ten years of senior football this season with our ‘Decade of Diamonds.’
