The Board of Directors of the Community Benefit Society held their first meeting since the AGM on August 14th.
Ahead of the meeting, we were disappointed to receive James Waller’s resignation from the Board. We would like to place on record our thanks to James for his hard work over the past 3 years; he will, however, continue to support the Remuneration Committee by completing some administration tasks.
In line with the Rules of the CBS, the Board agreed the following statutory appointments at the meeting:
Chairman- Ralph Burditt
Treasurer – Matt Ward
Society Secretary – Matt Ward
The Board agreed to co-opt the following members onto the Board:
Mark Hedges
Ryan Farmer
Additionally, the following committees were also set up in accordance with our Rules for Committees of the Board of Directors. Each committee is made up of at least 3 Board members and no Board member is permitted to sit on more than 2 committees. The Board decided against publishing the names of committee members:
New Home Committee
Remuneration Committee
Discipline Committee
The Club website will be updated with the new structure and organisation charts in due course.
