Update on Bar Facilities for Supporters

Following the fire at the club house last week which is now out of action, the club had arranged to use Hart Family Brewers’ “pop-up pub” however, due to wind, it was not possible to erect the pop-up pub’s marquee before the match.

A range of alcoholic refreshments were still available from the patio area, but without an enclosed “bar” area, however it was clear from sales that this was not a popular option with supporters and that many in attendance at the game chose to purchase their pre or post match drinks elsewhere.

As a result of this feedback, for Tuesday nights fixture against Leighton Town supporters are invited to use the newly-installed bar in the hospitality suite which will be open before, during and after the game.

The Club would like to take this opportunity to apologise once again to supporters for the disruption caused by the lack of a clubhouse bar area. Representatives of AFC R&D are working closely with Wellingborough Town FC to remedy the situation as swiftly as possible.

In the meantime, supporters are urged to continue to patronise the facilities at the ground as normal in order to help to minimise the adverse effects of the fire.
