AFC Rushden & Diamonds are again actively recruiting FOOTBALL SAFETY STEWARDS for their Saturday and midweek home matches this season at The Hayden Road Sports Ground.
After our promotion to Step 3 and our progression up the football pyramid, the club places an increasing importance on a safe match-day environment and wants to expand our current team of Football Safety Stewards. We welcome applications from people who would like to join our team as a Part Time Casual Football Safety Steward.
Our Football Stewards play a vital part of the safety and customer service team at every home game.
So Do You Fit The Bill, Would You Like to Join the AFC Rushden & Diamonds Football Safety Stewarding Team?
We welcome interest from those who wish to help out on a match day volunteer basis and those who want to become trained and work towards Level 2 or 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in Spectator Safety.
But please don’t worry if you don’t currently hold this qualification, as we will be offering support, and training to the right candidates in obtaining this highly respectable industry must-have qualification. The club, for the first twelve months, will pay match day expenses to probationary stewards working towards their NVQ in Spectator Safety.
