We’re looking forward to welcoming everybody to Hayden Road on Saturday for the weekend’s fixture v Redditch Utd and the Board would like to make all supporters aware of a few changes and improvements to our matchday arrangements.
Firstly, the gate price has been reduced for this fixture and we hope that this will encourage a few more supporters to attend the match. The new gate prices for this match are:
Adults: £10
Concessions (over 60s, 18-21s, 8-15 non members and students with valid ID): £7
All U8s: free
Unfortunately, we are still unable to take cash at the turnstile due to the on-going COVID-19 pandemic. Supporters can purchase their tickets in advance from Ticketsource (www.ticketsource.co.uk/afcrd) or payment can be made by contactless card at the turnstile. However, if you have any issues please email secretary@afcdiamonds.com in advance or speak to a steward on the day who will be able to help.
We have arranged for those supporters who have already purchased tickets through Ticketsource at the full price to receive a £1 refund direct from Ticketsource and they can expect to receive this in the coming days.
As always, printed programmes will be on sale at the ground. This week, one programme will have a lucky ‘golden’ ticket inside. The winner will receive the opportunity to have their photograph taken with their favourite player (at a time of their choice). If you find the lucky golden ticket in your programme, please ask a steward to point you in the direction of Matt, our club photographer, who will make all the necessary arrangements for you.
Our matchday raffle will take place as usual and tickets will be on sale as you enter the ground through the turnstiles. This will be drawn at half-time and prizes can be collected from Glenis in the hospitality area during the second half of the match or at the end of the match.
The Club shop will be open inside the ground from 1.30pm-2.45pm. We have recently received new stock of shirts and there are plenty of other items available. With only 3 home games left before Christmas, now is the ideal time to start your Christmas shopping! Don’t forget that Club members receive a 10% discount and we’re hoping to start a winter sale soon. The shop can be found next to Dale’s Bar, in between the Peter De Banke Terrace and the Hevey Stand, so why not pop in and have a browse.
Dale’s Bar will be open as normal for hot/cold drinks and snacks and, of course, the clubhouse bar will be open before, during and after the match.
Finally, and perhaps most importantly, the Club is delighted to welcome food traders, Burger Boulevard, to Hayden Road for both Saturday’s match and our match v Lowestoft Town FC next Tuesday evening. Burger Boulevard is a well-known local hot food provider that has attended many local events and will be located next to the Peter De Banke terrace. We hope that you will enjoy the matchday food to enhance your Diamonds Matchday experience.
