AFC Rushden & Diamonds are delighted to confirm that Academy Under 23s goalkeeper Zander Watson has signed Southern League forms for the 2022/23 season.
Despite still being eligible for Under 18s football, Zander made his breakthrough last season making 31 appearances at Under 21s level as the first choice Under 21s keeper. This pre-season he has made the bench twice for the first team, and played three times for the Academy Under 23s, including the win against Rushden & Higham United in the Chris Ruff Memorial Cup.
