AFC Rushden & Diamonds are pleased to confirm that Steve Spriggs has signed for the club.
The 27 year-old winger / striker was previously with Kings Lynn, where he had a number of spells at The Walks, playing at Step 3 level for them last season, and he is the all-time top scorer for the reformed club, scoring 80 times in 216 appearances.
He started his senior career with Ely City, after being with the Cambridge United Academy, before making his debut for Kings Lynn in 2007. Between his various spells at The Walks he has had significant spells with Mildenhall Town, Wroxham (where he appeared for them at Wembley in the FA Vase final) and AFC Sudbury.

In other Club news, we are both pleased and disappointed to report that Georgia Tew, sports therapist for the Under 21s, has recently taken on the role of sports therapist for the 1st team squad at Rugby Town FC. Georgia gained valuable experience working with us last season and we wish her all the best in her new position.
